Welcome to my art!  My initial work has concentrated on mastering fundamental techniques of drawing and painting through learning from art history and contemporary practitioners. I favor figurative work, still lifes, and landscapes inspired by drawing from life and found design.   I am particularly moved by portraiture, and I am striving to capture the personality and energy of my portrait subjects.
